Hiring a plant from Vinton Tree Services & Plant Hire for your Arboricultural needs makes good business sense. You only hire when you need a machine, so there is no capital outlay, which means lower operating costs. No costly equipment needs to be stored and maintained while it sits in your yard, depreciating when it is not needed.
We own 17 chipper trucks, 14 travel towers, 15 chippers, eight water carts, eight stump grinders, four forest mowers, three remote mowers, two excavators, augers, bobcats and more.
Using recycled water! Great for tree planting, dust suppression, and median and verge watering. Equipped with lightboards that meet ADR13/00 for the total safety of our crews and road users.
For those hard-to-reach areas - 2 x 11m insulated. towers, 3 x 15m towers (2 insulated) 2 x 23m insulated towers, 4 x 27m towers, 1 x 30m and 2 x 32m towers.
We prune, we chip, we take it away. Both 10" and 18" chippers are available, as well as trucks with a capacity of 10 tonnes and 20 cubic meters of enclosed bins.
Able to negotiate a 55-degree slope - horizontally and vertically and at the same time!
Both our 8.5-tonne and 13.5-tonne excavators are fitted with a groomer attachment, which has a cutting width of 1.2 metres and can mow both fallen material and standing material up to 8" at a reach of 7 metres.
These machines fill the gap between our remote mowers (grass, bana grass, light scrub and lantana) and our forest mowers (grass, bana grass, thick scrub, lantana and trees to 9") when access, size of the material to be mown or highly sensitive areas requiring selective clearing/mowing is an issue for one of our other production machines.
Both options are fitted with city blocks, which allow us to work on roadways without causing damage to the road surface, allowing mowing of overgrown road verges or drains behind guard rails, etc. Zero swing enables work in one lane, minimising disruption to traffic flow.
Our machines are not only for working on roadways but they have also been utilised by various agencies to:
* Mow weed species on creek verges, overgrown drains and spillways
* Re-open access tracks and fire trails
* Create buffer zones/fire breaks
* Selectively clear for revegetation works
* Remove cat's claw/vines from trees
Our excavators come on our own transport and are supplied with a licenced operator and spotter.
Our excavators come with grooming attachments, and we also have rippers, batter buckets, mud buckets, and log grabs - a truly multipurpose addition to our fleet.
Due to its compact size and manoeuvrability, Vinton's slope mower is ideal for the maintenance of areas surrounding water reservoirs, rivers, waterworks, dams, bridge abutments, culverts, and road verges. The machine is the ultimate in environmental friendliness because of its low weight and minimal ground pressure. The track drive allows us to work in wetlands and protected natural areas, causing minimal damage to the area, and there is no unnecessary risk to the health and safety of our operators when working on steep inclines or slopes.
With three radio-controlled slope mowers in our fleet, we can handle the maintenance of sloped and inaccessible (by traditional methods) terrain with vertical and horizontal slopes of up to 55°, covering up to 9,000 square metres per unit per day. Our slope mowers are able to deal with rough seedlings, wild growth, bana grass, and lantana (just to name a few) using the safest method possible.
In general, these units are intended for the mowing of sloped areas unable to be mowed with existing ride-on machines due to their manufacturer specifications with regards to working on slopes or where Work Health and Safety boundaries for staff and machinery working on slopes will be exceeded.
Unlimited reach.
No obstruction on the roads.
No risk to staff on slopes.
Able to handle 55° slopes, horizontal and vertical.
